Grand River BJJ is located at Galt downtown and focuses on teaching high-level Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to adults, children, and everyone who is looking for a healthy mind and body.

Classes are taught by Cicero Schiavini, a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2003 and black belt since 2013. He was a Referee with OJA (Ontario Jiu Jitsu Association) in several tournaments and has taught at Beaches BJJ for over one year. Currently he lives in Cambridge with his wife and daughter and works as a Quality Engineer at a local industry and keeps practicing BJJ. It became clear that there is space to develop a new BJJ Team in Cambridge, to promote all the amazing experiences that Jiu Jitsu has to offer. The beautiful landscape of the city inspired the name of the team, that is about to grow as a family.

The gym is affiliated with Cicero Costa Team and Gringo BJJ - the greatest team of all Ontario, which is home of some brilliant world champion athletes. Their support helps Grand River BJJ to keep a high-level quality of training to better serve the students.
